Minor Mosquito 1, 2018 (Hamilton Cardinals Rep Baseball)

The Hamilton Cardinals Minor Mosquito T1 team went undefeated in Round Robin play in the Dave Dash Tournament in Brampton July 27 – 29, 2018. The Semi-finals were a nail biter with outstanding pitching as well as seamless defensive play and strong offense by both teams. In the eighth inning the Cards managed to take the lead and squeeze by the Mississauga Majors winning 3-2 to advance to the Championship Game. The Minor Mosquito T1 team made the 5 hour trip to Cooperstown, NY to play in the "Cooperstown Backyard Baseball Classic" wooden bat Tournament July 6-8, 2018. The Cardinals came out on fire defeating the Mohawk Valley Vipers 11 to 1 on Friday and Colonie Raiders 4 to 3 on Saturday. With these two wins it pushed the boys to the Semi-Finals on Sunday. It was a back and forth battle on Sunday afternoon but the Cards came out just short of a win, losing to the Utica Hurricanes 13 to 10. Thank you to all the Coaches, this was a once in lifetime experience for the players and their families!

Congratulations to the Hamilton Cardinals Minor Mosquito 1 team for defeating the Mississauga Majors in their Season Opening Games. The boys battled hard and came out victorious 8-5 and 6-5 in their first double header of the season!

2018 Minor Mosquito indoor workouts are scheduled to start on Friday Jan 19th.
