Provincial Team Ontario Tryouts

Provincial Team Tryouts announced for 14U Girls and 17U Boys as follows: 

In preparation for the Girls U14 National Western Baseball Championships, to be held in Saskatchewan from August 15th to 18th, 2019.  Baseball Ontario will be hosting 2 open tryouts in March of 2019. 

Players should plan to attend both tryouts.     
                 
Sunday, March 24th     8-10 am           Aurora Sports Dome 
Sunday, March 31st      8-10 am           Aurora Sports Dome

The Aurora Sports Dome is located at115 Industrial Pky N, Aurora, ON. Playing surface is artificial turf. A tryout fee of $25 per player covers the cost of both tryouts. Please arrive a few minutes early to check in.

Try-outs for 2019 are open to all female baseball players born 2005 - 2007.


2019 Ontario Cup Tournament (17U):

The Ontario Cup is the start of the selection process that determines the players that comprise the Ontario Youth Team which will represent Ontario at the 2019Canada Cupin Regina, SK.

Date and Location:

There will be 2 tryouts, one in Windsor April 27 & 28, and one in Vaughan May 17-19. Players will choose which location they wish to attend on the registration form.

40 players will advance to a 2nd campin early July atVaughan Grove Sports Complex.

Registration:

Players register individually for this event through our online registration form. The fee for 2019 is $195.00. An additional fee may be required at either the 2nd Camp stage or for the players who make the final roster.

Eligibility:

Only players registered with a Baseball Ontario program,including aPBLO program, orarecognized program,are eligible to participate in the Ontario Cup Tournament. This is a 17U tournament, and birth dates go by the calendar year. Please read theEligibility Pageof our website for up to date information.

Refund Policy:

Your entry fee includes a non-refundable deposit of $50. Cancellations received prior to the close of online registration for the Ontario Cup will be refunded less the non-refundable fee. After that no refunds will be issued.

Schedule:

Every effort will be made to play a full schedule. The schedule may be altered or shortened to compensate for inclement weather, and no refunds will be offered. Players should expect to be onsite all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Schedule is subject to change.

If the entire event needs to be rescheduled for any reason, you will be notified by email of the change(s) and the same refund policy will apply.

Meals & Accommodation:

All participants are responsible for their own meals and accommodation for the Ontario Cup and 2nd Camp.
