2017 Award Winners Announced

The Hamilton Cardinals Baseball Association held their annual awards banquet on Tuesday, September 12th at Michelangelo Banquet Centre. Players, parents, and coaches had the opportunity to celebrate a season of fun and hard work as well as hear from this year’s guest speaker, Rick Johnson. Rick is a former National Team player and coach and current co-owner and instructor of The Baseball Zone.  

The Cardinals also recognized players for their efforts with the following awards:


Minor Rookie Ball
Best Offensive Player: Boston Strauch
Best Defensive Player: Ryan Drong
Best Thrower: Noah Kirilo
Cardinals Dedication Award: Jeremy Duck  

Major Rookie Ball Tier I
Best Offensive Player:  Ben Kyle
Best Defensive Player:  Carter Delaplante
Best Thrower:  Evan Shewfelt
