Chris Marriott is the Owner/Operator of Marriott’s Roofing and Siding. Chris has always had an affinity for the trades, having grown up with and around family in the business. Once Chris took a few courses on how to deal with everyday home owner issues, he knew this was the business for him. Chris formally entered the construction industry in 2000 working with a large roofing company in the Hamilton area. In 2004, Chris went on his own and started Marriott’s Roofing. Since 2004, Marriott’s Roofing has grown significantly serving the Hamilton, Ancaster and Burlington areas. Paul Kirby was an avid Recreational Sailor. He enjoyed runs across the Lake and took a keen interest in the Ships he saw along the way. My earliest memory of a “Laker” was from Sunday drives to Toronto Harbour to see who was in Port or laid-up for the Winter. My interest in boats can certainly be traced back to those early years. I became a Commercial Diver and grew in an Industry that has defined my life. My Father passed away in 2015. In his memory, I named the Company “Lani”.... the namesake of the boat he decided he should sell in the fall of 1969 when he learned he was starting a family, and I was on the way. -Chris Kirby ×
