Major Rookie 2 improves with win over Milton
The Major Rookie 2 squad hosted the Milton Mets on Thursday night at TB McQuesten Park
After suffering a tough loss in Waterdown the night before, the young Cards hosted the Mets for the first time this season. The game started off slow before both teams got in on the hit parade in the second and third innings. The improving Cardinals defence held the Mets which allowed Hamilton to pull away and take a 12-4 decision.
Up next is a road trip to Halton Hills to face the Eagles on Monday night.
