Four Pitchers Combine in No-Hitter as Cards Defeat Etobicoke Rangers
After finishing their 1st tournament action with a disappointing 1-2 record, including a 14-0 defeat to the Cambridge Cubs, the Hamilton Cardinals were eager to get back to work against the Milton Mets on Tuesday and the Etobicoke Rangers on Wednesday.

A smooth start was followed by an error filled 5th inning which allowed the Milton Mets to close the gap, but when time was called the Cardinals took the 16-10 win on Tuesday night.

The boys arrived at the diamond on Wednesday focused; knowing that any errors could cost them against the solid Etobicoke Rangers. The Cards quickly found their stride...reminding their coaches, their fans and themselves of the true strength of this team. They won the game with a thrilling 1-0 finish. Four pitchers (Mark L, Alex M, Will R and Carter D) combined for a no-hitter. Will R continues to swing a hot bat with a double in the 6th but not before Jack S brought home Ryan W with the only RBI of the game.

The Cardinals hit the road this weekend in Cambridge as they compete in tournament action. They open against the Guelph Royals before facing their COBA rivals the Oakville A's & Brampton Royals.
