Major Mosquito 1 improves record to 4-1
Hamillton Cardinals defeat the Burlington Bulls in 2nd straight game and & Mississauga Majors in Home Opener.
On Victoria Day the Cards faced off with the Burlington Bulls for a rematch of their last game. A solid start by Ethan G and reliever Patrick S allowed the Bulls to only score 4 runs in the first 6 innings. The Cards held off a late charge by the Bulls and defeated them 12-8. Quinten L led the way offensively with 3 RBIs.
The Cardinals hosted The Mississauga Majors in a chilly Home Opener last Thursday. Will R was dominant, pitching 3 2/3 innings while only allowing 1 run and striking out 5. He also led the way offensively with a bases loaded triple, that drove in 3 runs and powered the Cards to an 8-4 victory.
On Tuesday, the Cardinals will hit the road to battle last year’s AAA OBA Champions, The Oakville A’s.
